Rear Door Glass Removal and Installation: Installation

Reverse removal sequence to install door glass. However, be careful of the following points.

Securely seal door sealing cover (1) with adhesive (2).

When weather-strip is hardened, water leak may develop. In such case, replace it with new one.
Apply instantaneous adhesive to hatched part "A" between partition glass (2) and partition weather strip (1).
NOTE:
- Horizontal adhesive application range should be in 25 - 35 mm (0.98 -1.38 in.) from each convex corner of partition glass.
- Do not overflow instantaneous adhesive from edge of partition weather strip (1).
CAUTION: Never use instantaneous adhesive eroding rubber.
