Blower Motor Controller Removal and Installation: Removal

Disconnect negative (-) cable (2) at battery (1).

Disable air bag system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Open glove box, then remove screw and damper located on the right side of the glove box.
Remove glove box.
Remove ECM (PCM) with bracket from blower motor unit.
Disconnect blower motor controller coupler.
Remove blower motor controller (1) by loosening its fastening screw (2).
