Air Flow Control Actuator Removal and Installation: Removal

- Disconnect negative (-) cable at battery.
- Disable air bag system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Remove instrument panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Disconnect air flow control actuator linkage (1) from heater unit.
- Disconnect air flow control actuator coupler (1).
- Remove air flow control actuator from heater unit by removing its mounting screw (2).
