Throttle Body Removal & Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative cable at battery.
  2. Drain cooling system.
  3. Disconnect accelerator cable and/or A/T throttle cable from throttle body.

  4. Remove air cleaner outlet hose.
  5. Disconnect electric coupler from TP sensor (1) and IAC valve (2).
  6. Disconnect coolant hoses (3) from throttle body.

  7. Remove throttle body from intake manifold.
