Wheel Removal & Installation: Removal

Loosen wheel nuts by approximately 180° (half a rotation).

Hoist vehicle.
Remove wheel.
NOTE: Never use heat to loosen tight wheel because application of heat to wheel can shorten life of wheel and damage wheel bearings.
