Master Cylinder: Aerio
- Remove master cylinder reservoir from master cylinder. See MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove master cylinder from vehicle. Use illustration for exploded view of master cylinder assembly. See Fig 1.
- On ABS vehicles, push primary piston in to remove secondary piston stopper pin from front reservoir hole. Go to step 4.
- On non-ABS vehicles, remove piston stopper bolt. Go to next step.
- On all models, remove circlip. Remove primary piston. Using compressed air, carefully apply pressure to front reservoir hole to remove secondary piston.
- On ABS vehicles, assemble secondary piston in master cylinder with slot facing front reservoir hole. Press both pistons in fully to install stopper pin (ABS) or stopper bolt (non-ABS). Install circlip.
