Activating System (Hombre)

  1. Ensure ignition switch is in LOCK position, and ignition key is removed. Ensure SIR fuse is removed from instrument panel fuse block. Reconnect Yellow SRS 2-pin connector on passenger air bag. Install CPA clip. Install glove box.
  2. Reconnect Yellow SRS 2-pin connector on driver air bag. Install CPA clip. Install knee bolster, sound insulator and trim panels
  3. Install SIR fuse. Staying well away from air bag modules, turn ignition switch to RUN position. Ensure AIR BAG warning light flashes 7 times, and then turns off. If AIR BAG warning light does not operate as described, see SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
