Sun Roof Motor
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove interior headliner. See HEADLINER
in REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove sun roof switch panel. Remove sun roof motor assembly. See SUN ROOF MOTOR
in REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Connect sun roof switch panel 6-pin connector to sun roof motor 6-pin connector. See Fig 1
. Using jumper wires, connect battery voltage across sun roof motor 2-pin harness connector terminals as shown. See Fig 1
.
- While depressing appropriate sun roof switch panel switch in specified position, check sun roof motor drive gear direction of rotation. See Fig 2

table. If sun roof motor does not operate, or does not turn in correct direction of rotation as specified, replace sun roof motor and drive gear assembly.
