Esteem & Swift

  1. Disconnect rear wiper motor connector. Using jumper wire, connect 12-volt source to Orange wire at wiper motor. See Fig 1 . Connect ground to Black lead at wiper motor. Motor should operate at about 35-45 RPM (Esteem) or 40-50 RPM (Swift). Replace rear wiper motor if motor operation is not as specified. If wiper motor operation is as specified, go to next step.
  2. Using jumper wire, connect 12-volt source to Yellow wire at rear wiper motor. See Fig 1 . Connect additional jumper wire between Orange wire and Blue/Green wire terminals at rear wiper motor connector . Wiper motor should stop at park position. Repeat 2 more times. Replace rear wiper motor if motor does not stop at park position consistently.
