Upper Control Arm & Ball Joint: Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheels. Use jack to support axle assembly.
  2. Disconnect ball joint mount from axle assembly. Remove bolt and nut holding upper control arm to body. Remove upper control arm. See Figure.
