An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by poor connection at terminal No. C1 and D2 of driver-side air bag connector in steering wheel lower cover, SDM terminal No. A9 and A1`0 or a poor wire to terminal connection in CKT G/R or CKT G. Test for this DTC is only run while AIR BAG warning lamp is performing bulb check unless DTC 17 or DTC 26 is detected. When scan tool CLEAR CODES command is issued and malfunction still present, DTC will not reappear until next ignition cycle.
