Diagnostic Aids

An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by poor connection at terminal No. B1 and B2 of passenger-side air bag, SDM terminal No. A3 and A4, or poor wire to terminal connection in CKT Y/R or Y. Test for DTC is only run while AIR BAG warning lamp is performing bulb check, unless DTC 17 or DTC 26 is detected. When scan tool CLEAR CODES command is issued and malfunction is still present, DTC will not reappear until the next ignition cycle.
