Brake Pedal Clearance
NOTE:
Brake pedal clearance information is not available for Sidekick, Swift or X90.
- Start engine. Depress brake pedal 3-4 times. Depress and hold pedal with 66 lb. (30 kg) force. Measure pedal to wall clearance "C". See Fig 1. Clearance should be 3.15" (80 mm) minimum.
- If clearance is less than specified, check rear brake shoes for wear limit. Check for air in brake lines. Check pushrod length adjustment.
