Removal (Swift SOHC)

  1. Remove rocker arms and shafts. See ROCKER ARMS & SHAFTS (SWIFT)  . Remove crankshaft pulley. Remove timing belt cover. Loosen timing belt tensioner and secure.
  2. Remove timing belt from camshaft sprocket only. Insert a round shaft into lock hole and loosen camshaft pulley bolt. Remove distributor and distributor case. Remove camshaft sprocket. Remove camshaft from head.
