Oil Pan: Removal

  1. Raise vehicle. On Samurai and Sidekick, remove front differential assembly. See appropriate DRIVE AXLE article. On all models, drain engine oil.
  2. Remove clutch housing lower plate or torque convertor housing lower plate. Remove oil pan nuts and bolts. Remove oil pan.
