A Pillar Trim

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the weather strip body side flange front.
  3. Remove the trim panel assembly A pillar.
    1. Pull the trim panel assembly A pillar towards the center of the vehicle.
    2. Rotate the tether clip B (b) in the arrow direction to disengage the clip.
    3. Rotate the trim panel assembly A pillar in the arrow direction.
    4. Release the hook at the end of the tether clip A (a), and remove the trim panel assembly A pillar.
    CAUTION:
    • Do not use any tool when releasing the hook at the end of the trim panel assembly A pillar.
    • Be careful not to damage the trim panel assembly A pillar surface and curtain airbag module.
