Center Console: Removal

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE:
    • Release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL .
    • On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery sensor.
  2. Remove the cover assembly front and the console box assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the right and left cover center sides.
    1. Disconnect the front antenna assembly interior connector. (Model with keyless access with push button start)
    2. Remove the harness clamp. (Model with rear seat heater)
    3. Remove the screws and release the clips, and pull the cover center side to remove.
      NOTE: Release the claws and clips on the RH side in the same procedure as on the LH side.

    4. Release the clips and detach the tray center LWR.
