DTC B2254: GPS Antenna Faults
DTC detecting condition :
A GPS antenna fault (open/short circuit) occurs.
Trouble symptom :
Navigation system does not operate.
Failure detection pattern :
- "Primary" (high-priority diagnosis)
- CHECK DTC

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the clear memory of [Cockpit Control]. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>CLEAR MEMORY .
- Turn the ignition switch OFF → ON.
- Read the DTC of [Cockpit Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is DTC B2254 displayed? (Current code)
Yes : GO TO 2.
No : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time.
Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause. - CHECK CONDITION OF GPS RECEPTION

Check the following points on the navigation system check screen of the dealership mode function check.
CAUTION: Start checking after two minutes or more have elapsed since the ignition switch has been turned ON in a location where there is nothing blocking above the vehicle and GPS wave can be received.- GNSS/Reception number: Are there four or more of blue indications?
- GNSS/Status: Is OK displayed?
Is the check result OK?
Yes : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time.
Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.No : GO TO 3.
- CHECK ANTENNA

Visually check the antenna and check the connectors.
Is the check result OK?
Yes : Replace the cockpit control module. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>COCKPIT DISPLAY .
No : Replace the antenna. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>ANTENNA .
