Combination Meter: Removal

CAUTION:

Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
When the combination meter assembly is replaced, perform the variant work. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>COMBINATION METER SYSTEM>OPERATION>VARIANT WORK .

When replacing the combination meter assembly, store the [Combination Meter] customizing information. Ref. to COMMON (DIAGNOSTICS)>CUSTOMIZE>OPERATION > SAVE SETTINGS / READ SETTINGS .
Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
Release the lock, tilt the steering column to the lowest end and fully extend the column by the telescopic system.
Remove the cover LWR driver. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER COVER>REMOVAL .
Remove the grille ventilation assembly center LH. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT GRILLE>REMOVAL>CENTER GRILLE .

Remove the visor COMPL.

Release the clips and claws, and then remove the visor COMPL from the column cover UPR.

Release the screws, clips and claws.

Remove the combination meter assembly.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the meter glass or instrument panel.

Remove the screws.
