Engine Intake System (Induction) And Turbocharger: Intercooler: Removal

  1. Remove the bolts which secure the intercooler, and remove the intercooler stay RH from the intake manifold assembly.

  2. Release the lock of spring (A) of intake duct No. 2, and remove the intercooler and the intake duct No. 3 as a single unit.
    NOTE: Move the both ends (a) of the spring to the cutouts (b) of the intake duct No. 2 using a flat tip screwdriver wrapped with protection tape.

  3. Remove the intercooler stay LH from the intake manifold assembly.
