- Detect the malfunction of lock-up fluid pressure control solenoid and hydraulic circuit, or drive circuit characteristics (stuck to high pressure side).
- Judge as NG if vibrations from the turbine revolution caused by engine speed drop with the lock-up clutch kept engaged are detected, even though the lock-up release command is issued when selecting the driving range or while decelerating the vehicle to stop.
