DTC B1503: Meter Control Module Can Register Stuck
DTC detecting condition:
Combination meter CAN controller malfunction
Trouble symptom:
Normal operation becomes impossible because the communication with other parts are not established.
CAUTION:
Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to COMBINATION METER (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
- CHECK DTC

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Read the DTC of [Combination Meter] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to COMBINATION METER (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
Is DTC B1503 displayed? (Current code)
Yes : Replace the combination meter. (Defective hardware or software) Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>COMBINATION METER
No : Replace the combination meter. (Temporarily defective hardware or software) Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>COMBINATION METER
