The Off-Delay Function For The Rear Left Power Window Does Not Work, Or It Works Continuously
Trouble causes:
- Rear regulator and motor assembly LH malfunction
- Power window main switch failure
- Rear power window sub-switch LH malfunction
- LIN communication error
- Body integrated unit malfunction
- Harness malfunction
- Poor contact of connector
- Power supply circuit malfunction
- Door switch circuit malfunction
Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
- CHECK MALFUNCTIONS

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Operate the power window main switch and check that the power window (rear seat LH) works in remote operation.
Does the power window operate remotely according to switch operation?
Yes : Go to 2.
No : Perform the diagnosis for "When the driver's switch is operated, the rear left power window does not work in remote operation". Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >DIAGNOSTICS WITH PHENOMENON>INSPECTION>WHEN THE DRIVER'S SWITCH IS OPERATED, THE REAR LEFT POWER WINDOW DOES NOT WORK IN REMOTE OPERATION. (WITH OFF-DELAY FUNCTION FOR ALL SEATS)
- CHECK DTC

Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read the DTCs of [Power Window (Switch)] and [Power Window (Rear Left)]. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
- Power Window (Switch)
- Power Window (Rear Left)
Are any DTCs displayed?
Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)>LIST
No : Go to 3.
- CHECK [Driver's door SW input] AND [P-door SW input] (DATA MONITOR)

Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data Monitor] of [Body Control]. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR
- Driver's door SW input
- P-door SW input
Does the display change according to the door open/close?
Yes : Go to 4.
No : Inspect door switch circuit. Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION
- CHECK [Operation Enable Signal] (DATA MONITOR)

Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data Monitor] of [Power Window (Rear Left)]. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >DATA MONITOR
- Operation Enable Signal
Is the display as follows?
- With the front door closed, does the display indicate [Permit] for approximately 40 seconds after IGN ON → OFF?
Also, does the display indicate [Not Permit] after 40 seconds passed?
- With the front door closed, does the display indicate [Not Permit] when the driver's door or the passenger's door is opened during approximately 40 seconds after IGN ON → OFF?
Yes : Replace the rear regulator and motor assembly LH. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>REAR REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY
No : Inspect the body integrated unit. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE
If no fault is found in the body integrated unit, replace the rear regulator and motor assembly LH. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>REAR REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY
