DTC B2B43: RL Door Power Window Pulse 1 And 2 No Signal

DTC detecting condition: 

When all the following conditions are established.

  1. When sensing areas are recognized.
  2. When no-pulse-input state continues in both pulse 1 and 2 phases.
  3. When "absolute value judgment" is detected during UP operation.
  4. After the condition 3 is met, when motor lock (no-pulse-input state in both pulses 1 and 2 phases for 300±10 milliseconds) is detected during reverse operation.

Trouble symptom: 

When the power window sub-switch is operated, the rear left window rolls down only in manual down operation, or inches up. (Inch up: Operating the switch rolls up the window about 10 mm only)

CAUTION:

Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to  POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION  

  1. SYSTEM INITIALIZATION  .
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    2. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform [System Initialization] of [Power Window (Rear Left)]. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION>SYSTEM INITIALIZATION 
      NOTE:

      Record the DTCs and FFD because they will be erased when the initialization is performed. 

    3. Perform the initial setting of the power window. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>POWER WINDOW SYSTEM>OPERATION
    4. Operate the power window sub-switch and check that the power window (rear seat LH) operates.

    Does the power window operate normally according to switch operation?

    Yes  : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE:

    In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause. 

    No  : Go to  2.

  2. CHECK DTC  .

    Read the DTC of [Power Window (Rear Left)] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS) >DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) 

    Is DTC B2B43 displayed?

    Yes  : Replace the rear regulator and motor assembly LH. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>REAR REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY

    No  : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE:

    In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
