DTC B28C7: Fan Motor Rpm

DTC detecting condition: 

When the stereo camera detected fan motor speed abnormality.

Trouble symptom: 

Only when the stereo camera is at high temperature, the following symptoms occur.

• All functions of EyeSight system do not operate.
• High beam assist does not operate.

1. CHECK STEREO CAMERA  .
   1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
   2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
   3. Read the DTC of [EyeSight] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) 

   Is DTC B28C7 displayed? (Current code)

   Yes  : Replace the stereo camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA

   No  : Go to  2.

2. CHECK STEREO CAMERA  .
   1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform the following items in the [Work Support] of [EyeSight].
      • Forced Drive of Heater and Fan
      NOTE:

      To perform [Forced Drive of Heater and Fan], go to step 4 of "Heater heating and cooling fan drive test". Ref. to  EYESIGHT>LENS HOOD>INSPECTION>HEATER HEATING AND COOLING FAN DRIVE TEST>FLOW 1>PREPARE VEHICLE AND CHECK HEATER  . 

   2. Read the DTC of [EyeSight] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) 

   Is DTC B28C7 displayed? (Current code)

   Yes  : Replace the stereo camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA

   No  : Currently, it is normal. Finish the diagnosis.
