Suspend State Is Not Released (Mirror HBA)
Trouble symptom:
The high beam assist function cannot be used because the high beam assist "Halt" display remains on in the combination meter.
If the combination meter is defective, diagnose the combination meter first.
Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
- CHECK WINDSHIELD GLASS

Check the windshield glass.
Are there any obstacles such as a sticker or dirt that shades the camera?
Yes : Remove the foreign matters.
No : Go to 2.
- CHECK CAMERA SURROUNDINGS

Check the surroundings of the camera.
Is the camera lens covered by a dislocated mount cover or accessories around the camera?
Yes : Correct the mount cover position. Remove the accessories, etc.
No : Go to 3.
- CHECK CAMERA LENS

Check the camera lens for dirt, etc.
Is there any dirt, foreign objects, fog or condensation?
Yes : Clean the camera lens. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>INSPECTION>CAMERA LENS MAINTENANCE
No : Go to 4.
- CHECK CAMERA LENS

Check the camera lens for cracking.
Does the camera lens have any cracks?
Yes : Replace the high beam assist module. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>REARVIEW MIRROR
No : If no fault is found by performing the inspection mode Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>INSPECTION MODE>PROCEDURE>CAMERA VIEW ANGLE INSPECTION MODE (MODELS WITH MIRROR HBA) , it is normal at present. If the function does not recover, perform the inspection for DTCs. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
