High Beam Light Does Not Go Off Automatically (Mirror HBA)
Trouble symptom:
High beam light does not go off automatically even when the high beam assist indicator is illuminating.
NOTE:
If the combination meter is defective, diagnose the combination meter first.
CAUTION:
Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
- CHECK DATA MONITOR
.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Direct the light of LED light or the like to the illumination sensor.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data Monitor] of [Body Control]. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR
- <HBA>High Beam Assist Status
Is [Day Detect] displayed?
Yes : Go to 2.
No : Replace the high beam assist module. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>REARVIEW MIRROR
- CHECK DATA MONITOR

- Direct the light of LED light or the like to the illumination sensor.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data Monitor] of [Body Control]. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DATA MONITOR
- <HBA>High Beam Request Status
Is [Request] displayed?
Yes : Replace the high beam assist module. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>REARVIEW MIRROR
No : Replace the body integrated unit. Ref. to BODY CONTROL/COMMUNICATION SYSTEM>BODY INTEGRATED UNIT
