DTC B1014: Acc Power
DTC detecting condition:
Voltage failure caused by poor contact of ACC power supply circuit
Trouble symptom:
Interior light may not operate at ACC position.
Wiring diagram:
DC power supply circuit Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM>POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
- CHECK DTC
.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Read the DTC of [Body Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
Is DTC B1014 displayed? (Current code)
Yes : Go to 2.
No : Go to 6.
- CHECK DTC
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the connector from body integrated unit.
- Connect the disconnected connectors.
- Wait approx. 2 minutes.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Read the DTC of [Body Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
Is DTC B1014 displayed? (Current code)
Yes : Go to 3.
No : Go to 6.
- CHECK FUSE
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Check the fuse. Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM>POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT>WIRING DIAGRAM
Is the check result OK?
Yes : Go to 4.
No : Replace the defective fuse.
- CHECK HARNESS
.
- Disconnect the connector from F/B.
- Using a tester, measure the voltage between the battery and F/B connector.
Connector & terminal
(B7) No. 2 (+) - Chassis ground (-):
Is the voltage 8.5 - 16.5 V?
Yes : Go to 5.
No : Repair the harness between F/B and M/B.
- CHECK RELAY
.
Perform individual inspection of the accessory 1 relay. Ref. to BODY CONTROL/COMMUNICATION SYSTEM>RELAY AND FUSE>INSPECTION
Is the check result OK?
Yes : Replace the body integrated unit. Ref. to BODY CONTROL/COMMUNICATION SYSTEM>BODY INTEGRATED UNIT
No : Replace the relay. Ref. to BODY CONTROL/COMMUNICATION SYSTEM>RELAY AND FUSE
- CHECK CONNECTOR
.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the connector from body integrated unit.
Is the check result OK?
Yes : Repair or replace the poor contact of connector.
No : Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
NOTE:In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
