B Pillar Trim

CAUTION:
  • Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to  AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION 
  • Do not reuse the clips on the trim panel assembly B pillar UPR. Once the clip is removed, its holding force is reduced. Be sure to replace it with a new clip. 
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
  2. Remove the trim panel assembly B pillar LWR. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>LOWER INNER TRIM>REMOVAL 
  3. Release the claws, and then remove the cover shoulder anchor.

  4. Remove the trim panel assembly B pillar UPR.
    1. Remove the anchor bolts of seat belts.
    2. Remove the bolt on the lower side of the trim panel assembly B pillar UPR.
    3. Release the clip by pulling the trim toward you, and while lowering the entire trim, remove the trim panel assembly B pillar UPR.
