Bumper Face
CAUTION:
Check the front and back surfaces of the bumper face rear around the radar sensor, radar sensor and radar bracket for any scratches or other type of deformation. Ref. to BLIND SPOT DETECTION/REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
- Remove the light assembly rear combination. Ref. to LIGHTING SYSTEM>REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL
- Release the clips, and remove the garnish assembly rear quarter.
- Remove the bumper face rear.CAUTION:
- Do not pull with excessive force. The bracket or bumper face rear may be damaged.
- For models with Reverse Automatic Braking, the connector of the sonar cable is secured on the bumper beam COMPL rear.
Pulling the bumper face rear with excessive force may break the sonar cable.
- Remove the screws and clips.
- Detach (b) and (c) while pulling up (a) of the bumper face rear.
- Detach (e) while pulling up (d) of the bumper face rear.
- Perform the same procedures when detaching (f) to (h) on the opposite side.
- Detach in order from (i) to (k) by carefully pulling toward you while pulling up the center of bumper face rear.
- Disconnect the sonar bumper cable connector, and remove the bumper face rear.
