Unit Inspection (Automatic Anti-Glare Mirror)
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
- Remove the mirror assembly inner rearview HBA. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOWS/MIRRORS>REARVIEW MIRROR>REMOVAL
- Apply black vinyl tape to the sensor (a) of the mirror assembly inner rearview HBA removed.
- Check the operation when battery voltage is applied to the connector terminal.
Terminal No. Light condition of fluorescent light Mirror surface condition 8 (+) - 2 (-) Mirror surface is not exposed to light. No change 8 (+) - 2 (-) Mirror surface is exposed to light. Mirror surface becomes dark. - Replace the mirror assembly inner rearview HBA if it is found defective.
