Trunk Lid Garnish: Replacement

  1. Remove the ornament rear slowly.
  2. Remove the double-sided tape remaining on the garnish assembly trunk, then clean the adhesive surface.
    CAUTION:

    Do not use any solvents that may damage the garnish assembly coating. 

    NOTE:

    If even a slight amount of double-sided tape remains on the adhesive surface, it may lead to improper adhesion. 

  3. Degrease the mounting surface of the ornament rear.
  4. Apply primer to the ornament rear mounting surfaces of garnish assembly trunk.

    Preparation items: 

    Primer: 3M K-520, K-500 or equivalent

  5. Affix a new ornament rear.
    NOTE:

    Affix so that there should be no gap between garnish assembly and ornament.
