Related Lines, More Than 52 Ω And Less Than 62 Ω ((J) Vehicle External Connection Can_Op Connector (Remote Engine Start))

  1. CHECK BETWEEN RELATED LINES AND MAIN WIRING HARNESS  .
    1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
    2. Disconnect the OP connector (remote engine start).
    3. Using a tester, measure the resistance between the OP connector (remote engine start) terminals.

      Connector & terminal 

      (i109) No. 9 - (i109) No. 3:

    Is the resistance 400 Ω or more?

    Yes  : A related line between the OP connector (remote engine start) and main wiring harness is open, or main wiring harness is open at two places or more.

    No  : Go to  2.

  2. CHECK RELATED LINES  .
    1. Disconnect the central gateway control module connector.
    2. Using a tester, measure the resistance between the OP connector (remote engine start) and central gateway control module connector.

      Connector & terminal 

      (i109) No. 9 - (i88) No. 12:

      (i109) No. 3 - (i88) No. 13:

    Is the resistance 10 Ω or more?

    Yes  : Repair or replace the open circuit portion of the OP connector (remote engine start) related lines.

    No  : Check the remote engine start Control Module or the mobile key.
