Console Box: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE:
    • Release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL .
    • On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery sensor.
  2. Attach the protective tape (a) to the cover center side.

  3. Remove the cover assembly front.
    CAUTION:
    • For models with smart keyless access with push button start, the interior antenna is installed behind cover assembly front. Be careful not to damage the harness when removing the cover assembly front.
    1. Remove the select lever knob.

    2. Remove the mat center tray.

    3. Remove the tray center LWR.

    4. Release the clips, and detach the cover assembly front.

    5. Disconnect the harness connector.
  4. Remove the console box assembly.
    1. Remove the cap console and remove the bolts.
    2. Remove the screws and release the clip.
    3. Disconnect the harness connector, and remove the console box assembly.

  5. Disassemble the cover assembly front and the console box assembly as required.
