Combination Meter: Removal

CAUTION:
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Release the lock, tilt the steering column to the lowest end and fully extend the column by the telescopic system.
  3. Remove the cover LWR driver. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER COVER>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the grille ventilation assembly center LH. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT GRILLE>REMOVAL>CENTER GRILLE .
  5. Remove the visor assembly.
    1. Release the clips and claws of the cover steering UPR.

    2. Release the screws, clips and claws.

    3. Disconnect the connector, and remove the visor assembly.
  6. Remove the combination meter assembly.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the meter glass or instrument panel.
    1. Remove the screws.

    2. Pull the combination meter assembly toward you and disconnect the connector.
