Door Trim: Removal

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the trim panel front door.
    1. Remove the cap remote and then remove the screws.
    2. Remove the cap pull handle, and then remove the screws.

    3. Release the clips.

    4. Remove the trim panel front door while pulling it toward the upper side of the vehicle.
    5. Remove the cable from the remote assembly door.

      (a) Door lock cable
      (b) Door open cable
    6. Disconnect each connector, and remove the trim panel front door.
  3. Remove each part as required.
