- CHECK DTCS.
Read DTCs of the Telematics. Refer to TELEMATICS SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC CODE(S) DISPLAY .
Is DTC B2A04, B2A05 or B2A06 displayed?
Yes: Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTC B2A04, B2A05 or B2A06. Refer to TELEMATICS SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE(DTC)>DTC B2A04 MIC CIRCUIT . Refer to TELEMATICS SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE(DTC)>DTC B2A05 LEFT SPEAKER/AUDIO CIRCUIT . Refer to TELEMATICS SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE(DTC)>DTC B2A06 RIGHT SPEAKER/AUDIO CIRCUIT .
No: Go to 2.
- CHECK THE SPEAKER OPERATION.
Perform [Speaker ON] in the telematics system operation check. Refer to TELEMATICS SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK MODE .
Does it sound?
Yes: Go to 3.
No: Go to 4.
- CHECK MICROPHONE.
Perform the microphone voice input.
Is the voice recognized?
Yes: Go to 4.
No: Replace the microphone.
- CHECK THE SPEAKER.
Check the speaker.
Is the check result OK?
Yes: Go to 5.
No: Replace the speaker.
- CHECK THE TELEPHONE CALL.
- Place the mobile phone in the vehicle.
- Establish a Bluetooth connection between the mobile phone in the vehicle and the vehicle unit.
- Make a call from outside to the mobile phone in the vehicle.
- Check that a telephone call is available through the in-vehicle microphone with the hands-free function.
Is a telephone call successful?
Yes: The circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.
