PASSENGER's SIDE POWER WINDOW DOES NOT WORK
Trouble causes:
- Front regulator and motor assembly (passenger's side) power supply circuit failure
- Front regulator and motor assembly (passenger's side) failure
- Power window main switch failure
- Power window sub-switch malfunction
- LIN communication error
- Body integrated unit malfunction
Wiring diagram:

- CHECK BATTERY
.
Check the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DO)>BATTERY . Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DOTC)>BATTERY .
Is the battery OK?
Yes: Go to 2 .
No: Charge or replace the battery.
- CHECK DTC

Read the DTC of [Power Window (Passenger)] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to Power Window (Diagnostics)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) .
Are any DTCs displayed? (Current malfunction)
Yes: Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)>LIST .
No: Go to 3 .
- CHECK [Window Lock Switch Signal] (DATA MONITOR)

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data monitor] of [Power Window (Passenger)]. Ref. to Power Window (Diagnostics)>Data Monitor .
- Window Lock Switch Signal
Is [Unlock] displayed?
Yes: Go to 4 .
No: Unlock the window lock to operate.
- CHECK [Power Supply Voltage] (DATA MONITOR)

- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data monitor] of [Power Window (Passenger)]. Ref. to Power Window (Diagnostics)>Data Monitor .
- Power Supply Voltage
Is the displayed voltage approximately 10.0 [V] or more?
Yes: Go to 5 .
No: Replace the front regulator and motor assembly (passenger's side). Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>FRONT REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY .
- CHECK [Operation Enable Signal] (DATA MONITOR)

Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data monitor] of [Power Window (Passenger)]. Ref. to Power Window (Diagnostics)>Data Monitor .
- Operation Enable Signal
Is [ON] displayed?
Yes: Go to 6 .
No: Inspect the body integrated unit. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
If no fault is found in the body integrated unit, replace the front regulator and motor assembly (passenger's side). Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>FRONT REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY .
- CHECK POWER WINDOW SUB-SWITCH
.
Perform unit inspection of power window sub switch. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH .
Is the power window sub-switch OK?
Yes: Go to 7 .
No: Replace the power window sub-switch. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>POWER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH .
- CHECK HARNESS (OPEN CIRCUIT)

- Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the power window sub-switch connector.
- Disconnect the front regulator and motor assembly (passenger's side) connector.
- Using a tester, measure the resistance between power window sub-switch and front regulator and motor assembly (passenger's side) connectors.

(Df35) No. 1 - (Df51) No. 4:
(Df35) No. 5 - (Df51) No. 6:
(Df35) No. 6 - (Df51) No. 8:
Is the resistance less than 1 Ω?
Yes: Replace the front regulator and motor assembly (passenger's side). Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>FRONT REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY .
No: Repair the open circuit of the harness between power window sub-switch and front regulator and motor assembly (passenger's side) connectors.
