DTC B2B43: RL Door Power Window Pulse 1 And 2 No Signal

DTC detecting condition: 

When all the following conditions are established.

  1. When sensing areas are recognized.
  2. When no-pulse-input state continues in both pulse 1 and 2 phases.
  3. When "absolute value judgment" is detected during UP operation.
  4. After the condition 3 is met, when motor lock (no-pulse-input state in both pulses 1 and 2 phases for 300±10 milliseconds) is detected during reverse operation.

Trouble symptom: 

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>CAUTION .
  1. SYSTEM INITIALIZATION  .
    1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform [System Initialization] of [Power Window (Rear Left)]. Ref. to POWER WINDOW (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION>SYSTEM INITIALIZATION .
      NOTE: Record the DTCs and FFD because they will be erased when the initialization is performed.
    2. Operate the power window sub-switch and roll the rear left window up and down.

    Does the window roll up and down?

    Yes:  Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.

    No:  Go to  2 .

  2. CHECK DTC  .

    Read the DTC of [Power Window (Rear Left)] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to Power Window (Diagnostics)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) .

    Is DTC B2B43 displayed? (Current malfunction)

    Yes:  Replace the rear regulator and motor assembly LH. Ref. to GLASS/WINDOW/MIRRORS>REAR REGULATOR AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY .

    No:  Even if DTC is displayed, the circuit has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

    NOTE: In this case, temporary poor contact of connector, temporary open or short circuit of harness may be the cause.
