Roof Antenna (XM Satellite Radio/Telematics Antenna)

CAUTION: Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .

Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
NOTE: On power seat models, move the passenger's seat all the way forward to position the backrest at the foremost position before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery sensor.
Lower the trim panel sub assembly. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>ROOF TRIM>REMOVAL
NOTE: Procedures for the roof trim is performed inside the vehicle.

Remove the antenna assembly roof.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the bolt assembly roof antenna and remove the washer roof antenna.
