Related Lines, More Than 52 Ω And Less Than 62 Ω ((G) Chassis Can_Airbag)

  1. CHECK BETWEEN RELATED LINES AND MAIN WIRING HARNESS  .
    1. Disconnect the airbag control module connector.
    2. Using a tester, measure the resistance between terminals in airbag control module connector.
      CAUTION: To measure the voltage and resistance of airbag system component, be sure to use the specified test harness. Ref. to AIRBAG (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>PREPARATION TOOL .

      Connector and terminal 

      (AB42) No. 45 - (AB42) No. 46:

      Is the resistance 400 Ω or more?

      Yes  : A related line between airbag control module and main wiring harness is open, or main wiring harness is open at two places or more.

      No  : Go to  2 .

  2. CHECK RELATED LINES  .
    1. Disconnect the central gateway control module connector.
    2. Using a tester, measure the resistance between airbag control module connector and central gateway control module connector.
      CAUTION: To measure the voltage and resistance of airbag system component, be sure to use the specified test harness. Ref. to AIRBAG (DIAGNOSTICS)>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>PREPARATION TOOL .

      Connector and terminal 

      (AB42) No. 45 - (i88) No. 25:

      (AB42) No. 46 - (i88) No. 26:

      Is the resistance 10 Ω or more?

      Yes  : Repair or replace the open circuit portion of airbag control module related lines.

      No  : Check DTC of airbag control module. Ref. to AIRBAG (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
