Operation Indicator Light Does Not Switch To Off Indicator Light Even After Pressing The Driver Monitoring System Off Switch

CAUTION: Before performing diagnosis, refer to "CAUTION" in "General Description". Ref. to DRIVER MONITOR (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>CAUTION .

CHECK CENTER INFORMATION DISPLAY .
Check if the touch sensor on the center information display is functioning properly.

Is the check result OK?

Yes : Go to 2 .

No : Perform the diagnosis for cockpit control system. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
CHECK COCKPIT CONTROL MODULE .
Check if the GUI changes properly when the Driver Monitoring System OFF Switch in the center information display is changed.

Is the check result OK?

Yes : Go to 3 .

No : Perform the diagnosis for cockpit control system. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE>PROCEDURE .
CHECK Driver Monitoring Unit .
Perform the user re-recognition of Driver Monitoring System in the center information display.

Is the recognition possible?

Yes : The system has returned to a normal condition at this time. Reproduce the failure, and then perform the diagnosis again.

No : Perform the diagnosis for Driver Monitoring Unit, and if any fault is found, replace the Driver Monitoring Unit. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>DRIVER MONITORING UNIT .
