62 Ω Or More ((J) Vehicle External Connection Can)
Wiring diagram:
CAN communication system Ref. to WIRING SYSTEM>CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM>WIRING DIAGRAM .
NOTE:
When the CAN communication circuit is measured, combined resistance of end resistances (120 Ω) within the central gateway control module can be measured. The combined resistance is more than 52 Ω and less than 62 Ω with the stabilizing circuit included. When the measured resistance value is 62 Ω or more, either one of the end resistances, or stabilizing circuit, or main wiring harness may have malfunction such as open circuit.
- CHECK CONTROL MODULE
.
- Disconnect the central gateway control module connector.
- Using a tester, measure the resistance between control module terminals.

(i88) No. 35 - (i88) No. 36:
Is the resistance 114 - 126 Ω?
Yes : Go to 2 .
No : Replace the control module whose value is out of the specification.
- CHECK HARNESS (OPEN CIRCUIT)
.
- Disconnect the cockpit control module connector.
- Using a tester, measure the resistance between cockpit control module connector and central gateway control module connector.
