Lane Departure Warning Off Indicator Light Does Not Go Off/Lane Departure Warning Off Indicator Light Illuminates Automatically

CHECK CONDITION OF OCCURRENCE .
Interview the customer to check if it occurs when the engine is started.

Does it occur when starting the engine?

Yes : This is normal. (Light illumination for a while after the engine start is normal.)

No : Go to 2 .
CHECK FOR PRESENCE OF TEMPORARY STOP CODES .
Check for the presence of the temporary stop codes. Ref. to Eyesight (Diagnostics)>EyeSight HALT Code .

Is a temporary stop code displayed?

Yes : Check EyeSight temporary stop code. Ref. to Eyesight (Diagnostics)>EyeSight HALT Code .

No : Go to 3 .
CHECK DTC .
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
2. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, read all PTCs. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .
Is PTC U**** (communication system) displayed?

Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed PTCs. Ref. to LAN SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . Go to 4 .

No : Go to 4 .
CHECK DTC .
Read the DTC of [Cockpit Control] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

Is PTC B**** displayed?

Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed PTCs. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . Go to 5 .

No : Go to 5 .
CHECK DTC .
Read the PTC of [EyeSight] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to Eyesight (Diagnostics)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) .

Is PTC B**** displayed?

Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed PTCs. Ref. to Eyesight (Diagnostics)>Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) . Go to 6 .

No : Go to 6 .
CHECK DTC .
Read the DTC of [Combination Meter] using the Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to COMBINATION METER (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

Is DTC B**** displayed?

Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed DTCs. Ref. to COMBINATION METER (DIAGNOSTICS)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . Go to 7 .

No : Go to 7 .
CHECK DATA MONITOR .
1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data Monitor] of [EyeSight]. Ref. to Eyesight (Diagnostics)>Data Monitor .
  - Lane Departure Warning Function
2. Perform the ON/OFF switching operation of the lane departure warning on the center information display.
Do the switching operation and the [Data monitor] indication match?

Yes : Go to 8 .

No : Perform the inspection according to the diagnosis for cockpit control system. Ref. to COCKPIT CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
CHECK DATA MONITOR .
1. Using the Subaru Select Monitor, check the following items in the [Data Monitor] of [EyeSight]. Ref. to Eyesight (Diagnostics)>Data Monitor .
  - Lane Departure Warning OFF Indicator
  - Lane Departure Warning Function
2. Perform the ON/OFF switching operation of the lane departure warning on the center information display.
Is the indication of [Data monitor] as shown below?

When set to OFF: [Lane Departure Warning OFF Indicator] is [ON], and [Lane Departure Warning Function] is [OFF].

When set to ON: [Lane Departure Warning OFF Indicator] is [OFF], and [Lane Departure Warning Function] is [ON].

Yes : Go to 9 .

No : Replace the stereo camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA>REMOVAL .
CHECK COMBINATION METER .
Perform the ON/OFF switching operation of the lane departure warning on the center information display.

Is the lane departure warning OFF indicator light of the combination meter as follows?

When the function is OFF: Illuminate

When the function is ON: Go off

Yes : Currently, it is normal. Finish the diagnosis.

No : Perform the inspection according to the diagnosis for combination meter. Ref. to COMBINATION METER (DIAGNOSTICS)>BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
