Seat Belt Switch Inspection

  1. Measure the resistance between terminals using each buckle switch checking condition.
    • RH
      Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard Circuit
      1 - 2
      • Sit on the rear seat RH
      • Tongue plate inserted
      1 MΩ or more

      1 - 2
      • Sit on the rear seat
      • Tongue plate detached
      1 Ω or less
    • CTR
      Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard Circuit
      1 - 3
      • Sit on the rear seat CTR
      • Tongue plate inserted
      1 MΩ or more

      1 Ω or less
    • LH
      Terminal No. Inspection conditions Standard Circuit
      2 - 4
      • Sit on the rear seat LH
      • Tongue plate inserted
      1 MΩ or more

      • Sit on the rear seat LH
      • Tongue plate detached
      1 Ω or less
  2. Replace the buckle switch if the inspection result is not within the standard value.
