- Prior to starting work, check the following precautions. Ref. to SEATS>General Description>CAUTION .
- Remove the rear seat. Ref. to SEATS>Rear Seat>REMOVAL .
- Remove the armrest assembly rear center. (Model with armrest) (RH side only)
- Remove the cover armrest by pulling it in the direction of the arrow.

- Remove the screws, and remove the armrest assembly.

NOTE:
The armrests assembly cannot be detached unless the cut out of backrest assembly RH and armrest side pin positions are aligned.
- Remove the knob backrest. (Screw-in type)

- Remove the belt guide. (RH side only)
- Remove the cover.
- Remove the screws to remove the belt guide.

- Remove the bolts, and remove the hinge assembly backrest CTR. (RH side only)

- Turn over the cover rear seat backrest.
- Detach the plastic fastener at the bottom of backrest assembly and the fastener, and turn over the cover rear seat backrest.

- For models with seat heater, disconnect the connector.
- Remove the tether anchor cover by inserting your hand from the inside of back board and pad.
CAUTION:
Pay attention to the burrs on the panel edge.

NOTE:
Pull up the pad and cover to remove the tether anchor cover.
- Remove the bushing headrest and the bushing lock assembly.

NOTE:
Catch the tip of the bushing headrest with pliers and push it outward from the inside of seat to remove it.
- For the backrest LH, remove the hog ring, wire clamp and J-fastener. (Models with armrest)

- Remove the seat frame assembly rear backrest.
- Remove the hinge bushing.
NOTE:
For model with armrest, remove the armrest bushing also.
- Remove the lock assembly backrest rear or the lock actuator assembly backrest rear.
CAUTION:
Pay attention to the burrs on the panel edge.

- Referring to the above steps, disassemble the backrest assembly RH.
- Remove the hog rings on the back side of the rear seat cushion assembly.

- Remove the hog rings, then remove the cover rear seat cushion.
CAUTION:
If the seating sensor mat is removed on model with seating sensor, replace the pad assembly and the seating sensor mat with new parts. If the seating sensor mat is reused, the detection may not operate properly.
