Parking Brake Harness

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
    NOTE:
    • Release the shift lock and shift the select lever to the "N" position. Ref. to CONTROL SYSTEMS>SELECT LEVER>REMOVAL .
    • On power seat models, move the front seat all the way forward before disconnecting the ground terminal from the battery sensor.
  2. Remove the console box. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CONSOLE BOX>REMOVAL
  3. Disconnect the connector.

  4. Lift up the vehicle, and then remove the rear wheels.
  5. Remove the protector tank. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL TANK PROTECTOR>REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the adapter cord EPB.
    1. Remove the grommet (a).
    2. Remove the clamp (b).
    3. Remove the clamp (c).
    4. Remove the clamp (d).
    5. Remove the clamp (e).
    6. Remove the clamp (f).
    7. Remove the clamp (g).
    8. Disconnect the connector (h).
