NOTE: Check the following first.

Is "lane keep (lane keep assist. adaptive cruise steering)" turned ON using the EyeSight customization function?
Is "Adaptive cruise" selected for the adaptive cruise control?

CHECK FOR PRESENCE OF TRAFFIC JAM ASSIST/LANE KEEP ASSIST DEACTIVATION CODE .
Check for the presence of traffic jam assist/lane keep assist deactivation code. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>TRAFFIC JAM ASSIST/LANE KEEPING ASSIST DEACTIVE CODE(S) DISPLAY .

Is the traffic jam assist/lane keep assist deactivation code displayed?

Yes : Perform the diagnosis for the displayed traffic jam assist/lane keep assist deactivation code. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>TRAFFIC JAM ASSIST/LANE KEEPING ASSIST DEACTIVE CODE(S) DISPLAY .

No : Go to 2 .
CHECK USING CHECK LIST .
Using CHECK LIST (LANE KEEP), check the following and respond to it. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>Diagnostics with Phenomenon>INSPECTION>CHECK LIST (ADAPTIVE CRUISE STEERING • LANE KEEP ASSIST • LANE DEPARTURE PREVENTION) .
- Does it apply to the condition that use of lane keeping is not desired?
- Does it apply to the condition or the object that is hard to be recognized by the stereo camera?
- Does it apply to the road condition that the white line or the preceding vehicle is difficult to be recognized?
Is there a relevant item in the check list?

Yes : When there is a relevant item, it can be the cause of malfunction. Eliminate the cause, and check that the malfunction has been improved.

No : Go to 3 .
INSPECTION OF WINDSHIELD GLASS AND DASHBOARD .
Check the windshield glass and the dashboard. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>INSPECTION>WINDSHIELD GLASS AND DASHBOARD .

Is the check result OK?

Yes : Go to 4 .

No : Repair or replace the faulty portion according to the inspection result.
INSPECTION OF FRONT WIPER .
Check the front wiper. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>INSPECTION>FRONT WIPER .

Is the check result OK?

Yes : Go to 5 .

No : Repair or replace the faulty portion according to the inspection result.
CHECK OPTICAL AXIS OF HEADLIGHT .
Check the optical axis of the headlight. Ref. to LIGHTING SYSTEM>HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY>ADJUSTMENT .

Is the check result OK?

Yes : Go to 6 .

No : Repair or replace the faulty portion according to the inspection result.
CHECK STEREO CAMERA .
Check the stereo camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT (DIAGNOSTICS)>General Description>INSPECTION>STEREO CAMERA .

Is the check result OK?

Yes : Go to 7 .

No : Repair or replace the faulty portion according to the inspection result.
CHECK TIRE AND WHEEL ALIGNMENT .
Check the tires and wheel alignment. Ref. to FRONT SUSPENSION>WHEEL ALIGNMENT .

Is the check result OK?

Yes : Go to 8 .

No : Repair or replace the faulty portion according to the inspection result.
ADJUST OPTICAL AXIS OF THE STEREO CAMERA .
Perform optical axis adjustment of the stereo camera. Perform optical axis adjustment of the stereo camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>CAMERA ADJUSTMENT, INSPECTION .

Was the fault fixed after adjusting the optical axis?

Yes : The current state is normal.

No : Replace the stereo camera. Ref. to EYESIGHT>STEREO CAMERA .
