Hose and Pipe: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION: Airbag system satellite safing sensor is located under the front center of the rear seat cushion. Be careful not to apply strong impact to the sensor when working with the rear seat cushion removed.
  1. Replace the seal with a new part.
    • When there is a seal on the HV battery:
      1. Peel off the seal from the engaging part of the HV battery duct.
        CAUTION: Be careful that the removed seal, dust, or other substance does not fall into the inside of the HV battery.

      2. Apply a seal to the duct assembly - gas out.

    • When there is a seal on the duct assembly - gas out:
      1. Peel off the seal from the duct assembly - gas out.
      2. Apply a seal to the duct assembly - gas out.

  2. Install the duct assembly - gas out.
    NOTE: If the rubber part was removed, align the pipe positioning and the notch in the rubber part when installing.
  3. Install the trim panel - rear apron LH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR QUARTER TRIM>INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the rear seat cushion assembly. Ref. to SEATS>REAR SEAT>INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the mat - rear floor.
  6. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
