Charger Duct: Rear

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CAUTION: Airbag system satellite safing sensor is located under the front center of the rear seat cushion. Be careful not to apply strong impact to the sensor when working with the rear seat cushion removed.
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Take out the mat - rear floor.
    1. Release the clips and hooks, and remove the mat - rear floor.

  3. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly. Ref. to SEATS>REAR SEAT>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the trim panel - rear apron RH. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>REAR QUARTER TRIM>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the duct assembly - cooling out RH. Ref. to HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE>HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY COOLING SYSTEM>REMOVAL>REAR DUCT>RH SIDE .
  6. Remove the duct - inlet charger.
    1. Release the clips and remove the duct - inlet charger as shown in the figure.

      NOTE: Leave the clips on the vehicle rear side in place on the vehicle.
